Blue Springs State Park provided the perfect backdrop of lush greenery and natural beauty.
The photo session started with classic group family portraits on the porch of the infamous Thursby House. We then made our way down the path around the picturesque surroundings of the Springs that added a timeless quality to the images. The last set of pictures were captured when the family gathered around a picnic table to celebrate birthdays and whipped out a cake. It was also my client’s daughter’s birthday that was celebrated. On a bright Saturday morning The Stenson family gathered on the beach to commemorate a momentous occasion – their eldest child's upcoming graduation.
With four kids, each milestone is a cause for celebration, but this one held a special place in their hearts. They wanted to capture this significant moment in a unique and meaningful way - with the entire family and as a beach session.
The beach has always been a place of joy and togetherness, so it felt fitting to celebrate there.
Arriving at the beach, we were greeted by the soothing sound of waves and the ocean breeze.
The photo session was a whirlwind of joy, laughter, and tender moments. The children understood the significance of the occasion and were extremely cooperative. We captured candid shots and heartfelt embraces.
We went up to the picnic area where there’s a little secluded nook that was perfect for more breathtaking shots. The sun glowed here and was perfect for more group and individual photos.
This family beach photo session was a beautiful testament to the bond The Stenson Family shares and the pride they feel in their children's accomplishments. I’m so glad they got this moment captured. Congratulations Robbie and well done!

As the second AKAversary of their sisterhood approaches, these radiant and empowered sorority sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated came together for a memorable group photo session. I was honored to capture their celebration and the timeless beauty of their sisterhood.
The location chosen for the group photo session was the picturesque Casements of Ormond Beach, FL. The serene ambiance of the river and garden perfectly complemented the sorority sisters, creating a captivating backdrop that symbolized unity and natural beauty.
